Like many Americans, I was reading about the NSA spying program today. (I’ll write more about that later). I came across this video. It’s an interview with The Guardian‘s Glenn Greenwald. You probably know that he broke the NSA story, but you may not know that he is one of thousands of American citizens who live in exile because the so called Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) prevents the federal government from recognizing his same-sex partner for immigration purposes. Greenwald and his partner live in Brazil.
